Bio Fuels From Food Are Becoming a Moral Problem

Bio-Fuels produced from crop like Rice, Wheat, Corn or oil rich vegetables like Soy are becoming a moral problem. This according to International Monetary Fund Chairman, Dominique Straus Kahn.

Straus-Kahn stated that these types of fuel are one of the greatest contributors to the rising food prices and the now occurring food shortages. This presents us with a moral dilemma says Straus-Kahn. Our need for “Green Energy”, is the cause of famine and starvation in other parts of the world.

Its is a potential time bomb that adds to the growing tension in the world and can act as a Major Threat to World Peace. Terrorists are more likely to find places hide.

The Worst is Yet to Come

The production of Bio-Fuels is a problem that puts the lively hood of hundreds of millions of people at risk. Uprisings resulting from famine can destabilize governments and cause the collapse of democratic elected governments. The question if those governments are in any way to blame for the situation is not relevant during an uprising of their starving population.

Increased chances of War and growing possibilities for terrorists

With this destabilization of democracies, the risk of war increases, and the terrorist threat to the Western World will increase. Since this destabilized environment will grow into a safe haven for people with dubious. Anarchy or dictatorships are historically a bad sign to integrity of government.

French president Nicolas Sarkozy announced at the Paris Climate Conference to double French food aid in order to lessen the present crisis. But agreed that compared to the problem at hand this is like a tiny drop of water in the ocean.

Bio-Fuels are a Hazard to Food production

Raw Food commodities like Cocoa, some Fruits, Rice, Grains have been low priced export items of many 3th World countries. The process of turning food into fuel is simple and doubles the quadruples the value of it. As a result more and more producers turn to the production of methanol, ethanol or bio diesel rather than food.

The news confirms our strong believe that the Bio Fuels are NOT the solution to our problems. They are the choice between a bag of crisps and a cup of fuel. With the amount of energy required to feed our hunger for power there is only one way to turn.

Solar Energy is the Solution

That way is the sun. The only inexhaustible source powerful enough to give us a life of abundance and prosperity.
Prosperity that is not build on the foundation of starving less fortunate souls on the planet.
